Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy
We strive to be fair to both our guides and guests when handling cancellations. If a cancellation occurs very close to the date of your trip it may be impossible for the guide to find other work. Our policy is as follows:

  • We frequently run programs in less-than-perfect, but acceptable weather conditions. Weather induced cancellations will be determined by Bigfoot Mountain Guides. There is no charge for weather induced cancellation, and we'll try our best to reschedule you for a different date.
  • If you choose to reschedule less than 10 days from your trip you will be charged an administrative fee of $50 to cover administrative time and credit card fees.
  • If you cancel +30 days from your trip you will receive a full refund of your deposit.
  • If you cancel +10 days from your trip you will receive 50% of your deposit.
  • Less than 10 days from your trip your deposit will not be refunded
  • Full payment is required 30 days before AMGA Programs. This is the standard set by the AMGA for their programs. These programs require multiple participants - if you cancel within 30 days you forfeit your tuition.

*Full-length routes at Lake Willoughby, Wallface, the ravines on Mt. Washington, or link-ups in other areas that take more than your average 7-8 hr day.
